Your choices
Cookie and storage preferences
Optional measurement stays off until you choose it. Your selection is shared between aibrandlens.com and the signup application so both surfaces honor the same choice.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website can place on a device. Browser local storage and session storage serve similar purposes but are stored by the browser outside traditional cookie files. This notice covers all of these technologies.
Aggregate site and tool measurement
Basic aggregate measurement does not use cookies, local storage, session storage, browser fingerprinting, or a visitor/session identifier. It records the requested page, referring domain when available, campaign parameters, broad device class, and time. It also counts consent decisions and whether the free snapshot tool was started or left before submission, without collecting text entered into the tool. It remains active when optional analytics is declined. Optional analytics controls continue to govern persistent unique-visitor, session, journey, engagement, geolocation, and advertising measurement.
2. What AI Brand Lens currently uses
| Technology | Category and purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Consent preference | Essential. Remembers whether you allowed analytics and advertising measurement, and shares that choice between the website and signup application. | Up to 180 days, unless you change it or clear browser storage sooner. |
| First-party analytics visitor and session storage | Optional analytics. Distinguishes unique visits from repeat sessions, preserves landing attribution, and measures aggregate engagement. On the first measured event, the server may derive approximate location, network, and proxy or hosting signals from the connection IP. The raw IP is not stored in the analytics record; a keyed one-way digest supports repeat-abuse correlation. We do not retain raw user agents or create browser fingerprints. | The pseudonymous visitor key and associated enrichment expire under the analytics retention schedule; its browser copy expires after one year. A session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Browser identifiers are removed if analytics is withdrawn. |
| Cloudflare Real User Measurements | Optional analytics. Measures aggregate page-load performance and Core Web Vitals from real visits. The Cloudflare beacon is loaded only after analytics permission is granted. | The beacon runs during consented visits. Cloudflare retains aggregated measurement data under its applicable service settings. |
| Application authentication storage | Essential. Keeps a signed-in user authenticated to the AI Brand Lens application. | The server session is configured for up to 30 days; local storage remains until sign-out or clearing. |
| Workspace and display preferences | Essential or requested functionality. Remembers the selected workspace, theme, contrast, accent, date/time, and editor preferences. | Until changed, signed out where applicable, or browser storage is cleared. |
| OAuth and onboarding session storage | Essential or requested functionality. Completes social sign-in, connector authorization, redirects, and onboarding. | Generally until the browser tab or session closes, or the flow completes. |
| OpenAI Ads measurement | Optional advertising measurement. After an OpenAI ad click, preserves an attribution reference through signup and records a completed registration. Automatic advanced matching is disabled, and the event is opted out of user-level personalization. | OpenAI's measurement technology may store a first-party attribution reference under its applicable retention settings. |
| Google Ads server-side measurement | Optional advertising measurement. After a Google ad click, stores the click identifier as a first-party value and reports consented snapshot, registration, or subscription conversions from our server. No Google advertising tag is loaded in your browser. | Up to 90 days, unless you withdraw advertising permission or clear browser storage sooner. |
First-party analytics, Cloudflare Real User Measurements, OpenAI Ads measurement, and Google Ads measurement do not initialize before the corresponding preference is enabled. Pseudonymous analytics keys are one-way hashed by the API before storage. Payment, social sign-in, or other third-party pages you choose to visit may use their own cookies under their own notices.
3. Managing your choices
Use the controls above at any time. “Use essential only” keeps both optional categories off. Withdrawing analytics removes the pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers from that browser, prevents the Cloudflare performance beacon from loading on future page loads, and stops future site measurement. Withdrawing advertising measurement removes the stored Google click identifier, prevents future server-side Google conversion reporting, and prevents the OpenAI Ads measurement script from loading on future visits. You can also delete or block storage in browser settings, although blocking essential application storage may prevent sign-in, security, preferences, and other requested features from working.
4. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
AI Brand Lens does not currently sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is no advertising sale or sharing to opt out of on the site. If those practices change, we will update these controls and honor legally required browser-based opt-out signals. Because there is no common standard requiring a response to “Do Not Track,” the site does not otherwise respond to that signal.
5. Updates and contact
AI Brand Lens LLC will update this page before introducing materially different cookie or tracking practices. Questions can be sent to hello@aibrandlens.com. For more detail about personal information, see the Privacy Policy.
